The 2017 Federation of Infection Societies Conference
- Birmingham, ICC, 30th Nov - 2nd Dec 2017

Federation Infection Societies Conference 2017

It was our pleasure to host the Federation of Infection Societies (FIS) Annual Conference in Birmingham.

We delivered an exciting programme that will cover infection prevention and control, existing, new and emerging diagnostics, challenges in treatment and infection management in adult and paediatric medicine, antimicrobial resistance, stewardship, education and measurement of consumption.

The challenges in our field are many and multi-disciplinary and the conference programme delivered education, shared expertise and offered insights across plenary, parallel and workshop sessions, in addition to the keynote eponymous lectures by leaders in the field.

Programme

Full timings and details will be available shortly on the downloadable programme, including Wound Management, The Challenges of Infections in Burns, Clinical Conundrums, Multi-drug resistant gram negative infections, Faecal Transplants, Antimicrobial Stewardship Quality Indicators, Environmental Decontamination and Water Management, Resistance Surveillance, The challenge of imported mycoses, clinical lessons, free papers, posters and much more ....
